The HiDiamond Technology

HiDiamond Technology

From material
to measurement

HiDiamond designs and manufactures cables, starting from the conductor properties, geometry, and dielectric, all the way to measuring the final connection. It doesn't rely on a single technology, but on monitoring the entire signal path.

Guide

Cleaning starts before you even plug in the cable

The process begins with a 16 mm copper rod. The material is pulled, extruded, and calibrated until a thin, uniform fiber is obtained. The consistency of its cross-section then influences the repeatability of the entire structure.

4VRC
monocrystalline copper

The copper undergoes four heat treatment cycles instead of two. HiDiamond uses this process to increase the purity of the conductor and achieve a more uniform and precise fiber structure.

UP-4VRC Ultrapure Monocrystalline Copper

A further step forward: more precise processing and even purer fibers. This technology is applied to the high-end series, where the material, geometry, and cable termination method are equally important.

Materials

The guide does not work alone

A dielectric designed to store less energy

A low dielectric constant limits the cable's capacitance and delayed energy release. HiDiamond uses XLPE to maintain signal propagation speed and intrinsic linearity.

The properties of XLPE in this application are up to one hundred times better than standard Teflon.

Graphite that is not made to be listened

In the mid-range and high-end series, graphite works synergistically with copper to reduce the noise generated inside the cable during the passage of the electrical signal.

Its purpose is not to shape the sound, but to leave a cleaner background for the music.

Parameters

Three values. One common objective

A good result doesn't depend on a single value. Resistance, capacitance, and inductance are interconnected: together, they describe the behavior of a cable between a source and a destination device.

Resistence

The lower the value, the less attenuation and signal loss there will be, which is especially important at low amplitudes.

Capacity

A lower capacitance promotes faster signal propagation and limits the energy stored in the dielectric.

Inductance

It depends on the material and geometry of the conductors. A low value helps maintain a wide bandwidth and reduce distortion.

From fiber to finished cable

The process remains controlled until the last measurement

01

Selection of raw materials

The quality of copper is checked before production begins, before the wire rod is processed.

02

Drag and calibration

The material reaches a cross section of 0.10 mm while maintaining an almost constant diameter and minimal fragility.

03

Centering and isolation

The conductor, dielectric and sheath are coaxially arranged so that the geometry does not change during the operation of the cable.

04

Retrace the structure

The precise twisting pace regulates the relationship between the wires and helps to reduce the inductance.

05

End of work

Welding or crimping is carried out at controlled temperature. HiDiamond uses a proprietary silver-based alloy and multi-layered connectors.

06

Final inspection

The finished cable is subjected to continuity, resistance, capacity and inductance measurements, as well as a mechanical connection test.

Matter. Geometry. Control

The finished cable has yet to be measured

Each stage is designed to minimize the risk. Only after passing electrical measurements and mechanical inspection, a project becomes part of a specific HiDiamond series.
